The CT Kids' Directory strives to provide families in our area with as much information as possible about upcoming events that may be of interest to them.  We welcome you to submit your events to our community calendar. 

Please make sure that your events are family-friendly.  Events that are deemed inappropriate will not be listed at the discretion of the CT Kids' Directory. 

Please follow the guidelines below for submission.  All appropriate events will be listed on our website.  However, events that are listed in our printed publication are on a space available basis.  Events will be chosen first on their level of "family-friendliness" and second, based on time of submission.  Although we would love to print every event sent to us, space does not always allow us to do so.  But do keep in mind that ALL events can be listed on the web even if it's after the deadline for our print publication.

Guidelines

• Please read the general instructions then click on the link below to fill out the form to submit your event.

• PLEASE NOTE - Firefox and Safari Browsers are NOT compatible.  You must use Internet Explorer browser to complete the submission form.  If you do not have Internet Explorer, please email your event to CTKidsDirectory@comcast.net.

• Do not email attached files as they will not be opened from unknown senders.

• 35 word maximum in the event description portion of your submission

• Do not use all capitals, italics, bold, fancy fonts...

• Fill out the form just as you see it in order to submit your event in the same format as you see it on our calendar page.  Example:

March 15 - Hamden

Event Title.   Address of Event.  Description of Event.   (Don't get too carried away here.  Remember you're limited to 50 words overall.  If you get too wordy, we will need to edit.  If we need to edit, the chances of your event being chosen when space is limited are not as good.)  Admission cost (if any.)  Time.  Web address (if any.)  Phone including area code.  Do not use parenthesis around area code.

• Please look at the Calendar Page to make sure you are submitting your event correctly.  We really do like to provide this service but the task becomes unmanageable if we have to retype everything.  Do not put parentheses around your phone number.  Do not put the word "time" in front of the time or "phone" in front of the phone #.  All of these small things help us out a great deal.
